The Snohomish County Dahlia Society will celebrate its 100
Please come and celebrate this milestone event with our members and dahlia enthusiasts from all over the world. The Snohomish County Dahlia Society is America's oldest known dahlia society and is the first dahlia society to have hosted one hundred consecutive dahlia shows. We look forward to your participation in this historical event.
The show is open to the public from 1:00 - 6:00 PM on Saturday, August 22, and from 10:00 AM until 4:30 PM on Sunday, August 23rd. Expect to see thousands of beautiful dahlia blooms staged as single entries, triple entries, baskets and arrangments. Blooms will be in all types, sizes and colors. Admission is free and there is limited parking on site but there are several nearby lots to accommodate overflow parking. Take exit 192 from I-5 and exit onto 41st Street/Mukilteo Blvd. Proceed west through Colby and Rucker intersections. Continue up the hill. The road will curve to the left and then right. The entrance to Forest Park is the first left after the pedestrian overpass.
Discounted lodging for the 2009 ADS National Show has been arranged through the Downtown Everett Holiday Inn, with group rates valid for booking from August 20th, 2009 to August 24th, 2009.
